Chef Bill believes two things must be in place to be a great cook. First, an absolute love for eating, to the point that when you finish one meal, you’re already thinking about the next. Second, a complete devotion to the act and art of feeding others, especially when those others are total strangers.

Chef Bill Blackburn founded Chef Bill Blackburn Farm to Table in Corona, California in 2000 as a full-service catering and event planning company built around two principles: real farm-to-table sourcing from local Southern California producers, and championship-level execution on every event. Twenty-five years later, those principles still run every menu, every consultation, and every plate that leaves the kitchen.

Classical French Training

Chef Bill studied under Chef Eric Crowley at the noted Epicurean School of Culinary Arts, which provides comprehensive professional instruction in classic French techniques. There, he received intense training in the creative preparation of meats, fish, fowl, stocks, and sauces. In addition to the exacting rigors of acquiring advanced cooking techniques, he developed a deep understanding of the art of presentation.

Before launching his catering company, Chef Bill built a successful background in corporate sales, marketing, and business development. He also draws on veteran military experience, which informs his approach to every event he caters: high ethical standards, unparalleled professionalism, succinct organization, unwavering customer service, strategic outside-the-box thinking, command leadership, and the ability to produce in pressure situations.
